Campaign Manager


The Campaign Manager supports sales executives in onboarding and servicing clients who engage with the Optimum Operations team for Performance centred campaigns on Display, Mobile and Video. They are responsible for making recommendations on campaign structure, ensuring for reasonable bids, budgets and flight dates through the creation of an Insertion Order and chasing for all required materials ready for campaign launch. Campaign Managers must ensure for the creation of conversion and segment pixels for the correct tracking of performance outcomes and that third-party reporting is automated and sent to the Optimum Operations team daily by our clients. The Campaign Manager traffics all digital assets to Nine’s creative spec guide and helps troubleshoot creative errors. Additionally, the Campaign Manager monitors campaign delivery and performance closely in consultation with their Advertising Operations Executive and provides regular updates to both Sales and the client. Finally, producing detailed and tailored campaign reports that are transparent and influential is a core function of this role.

Responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):

Project Management
Contribute to influencing the direction in digital campaign responses to client briefs and outcomes
Lead and own the campaign creation and maintenance process with key campaign stakeholders
Consistently maintain an internal depository of creative and insertion orders for every Optimum campaign that is booked
Maintain a campaign tracker to help coordinate workflow and direct the setup of quality campaigns within SLA
Build and certify proper implementation of conversion and segment pixels on client site
Ensure all required TPS reporting is built as necessary by the client and is automated to deliver to Optimum Operations daily
Run weekly in progress meetings with key campaign stakeholders to manage and monitor campaign delivery

Insights and Reporting
Provide progress reports and insights as well as end of campaign analysis
Craft and build case studies to promote in market dialogue on Optimum offerings to secure future spend
End of Month Billing
Ensure all in month billable trackers are updated with accurate data to ensure for minimal errors in, in month billing
Stakeholder Management
Develop strong, lasting client relationships internally & externally


Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Media) or relevant Digital Technology tertiary qualifications and/or related work experience and post tertiary qualifications
Intermediate Excel & Power Point skills required
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects, tasks and priorities
A great attitude and desire to be a contributing member of a strong, collaborative team
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Strong motivation, self-starting approach
Excited by challenge, the ability to problem-solve and perform under pressure against tight deadlines

Understanding of the digital advertising landscape
Demonstrated industry experience in developing, managing, monitoring and reporting on digital marketing campaigns in a digital ecosystem
Experience with project & task management online systems
