Campaign Manager

Role Introduction:

The Campaign Manager is a multi-faceted role that requires campaign & project management as well as some technical skill sets – as detailed in the following sections.
The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, efficient, dependable and a collaborative team player with a positive “can do” professional attitude. We are looking for team players who thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic division within a large matrixed organization.
Experiences with an interactive or agency background skills are a plus.
The role will work very closely with various Team Leads and Managers in Campaign Services.

This role is not right for candidates that struggle to work in agile and collaborative environments.

Campaign & Project Management Responsibilities:

Serves as primary point of client interaction and escalation for campaigns.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple campaigns and customer deadlines with minimal oversight.
Able to forward plan and set clear expectations with external and internal stakeholders by managing any conflict of interests.
Provides campaign / project management expertise for assigned projects including requirements gathering, milestone tracking and status reporting.
Client Relationship Building – develops and maintains solid relationships with client contacts; Willing and able to consult with client to resolve ambiguity in provided requests or assets.
Consistently represents Cheetah Digital in a positive way in all communications with the client and executes defined instructions appropriately.
Organizes calendar/schedule and ensures successful completion of internal and client milestones required for accurate and efficient campaign deployment.
Accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of campaigns executed on behalf of the client and any escalation management required.
First tier error remediation contact, process breakdown and root cause in collaboration with Team Leads.
Willingness to work with clients on-site is required.

Technical Responsibilities:

Provides assistance in message deployment within Cheetah Digital’s platform and plays a critical and essential role for the strategy, production and delivery of our Clients’ email campaigns and projects.
Maybe responsible for content updates, data management, audience segmentation, deployment configuration, scheduling and verification of each deployment.
Perform quality assurance activities.
Completes designated training on schedule and encourages completion by other team members.
Work in coordination with Clients to determine the correct content to be deployed and associate it with the right audience for deployment at the right time.
Other deployment services that may be required:
Complete audience/data import and/or segmentation activities and configures sending/automation parameters.
Executes minor edits and generates proofs/tests accordingly.
Interacts with client as needed to resolve concerns/questions.
Responsible for deployment scheduling and validation that all client and platform approvals are appropriately confirmed.
May run or utilize reports/exports related to deployment execution.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree 2+ years industry experience.
Exposure to email marketing best practices and related technologies (i.e. HTML, CSS, etc.);
Experience with the retrieval and uploading of data files to/from multiple systems and environments; Basic filtering and relational data fundamentals is a plus.
Google Apps & Microsoft Office exposure.
Experience testing in multiple email clients, browsers, and/or devices.
Strong knowledge of email compliant HTML and email platforms to complete minor HTML edits.
Experience testing in multiple email clients, browsers, and/or devices.
Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices.

Business Skills

Effectively collaborates with and influences manager-level client contacts.
Understand the importance of a process and is able to adhere to well defined operating workflows.
Attends client status or health calls with internal teams and Client Success Managers.
Ability to work independently but also effectively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment from project initiation through testing and delivery.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional work ethic and ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to build effective working relationships with others inside and outside of the organization.
Experience in the cross-channel marketing industry and/or client management a plus.
Familiarity with email industry best practices a plus.
