Communications & PR Specialist x 2

Who You Are:

You are passionate about communications and are motivated to find better ways of working and you are open to change. Furthermore you are energised by working independently and interdependently, are comfortable working with people across the business to provide strategic communications advice and guidance. You have proven advanced training in Communications or equivalent and 2-5 years of communications experience (external and internal).

You have knowledge in the following areas:

• Capable of managing end-to-end campaigns, with extensive knowledge of how to lead communication by defining, planning, executing and following-up communication to relevant stakeholders both internally and externally
• Extensive knowledge of digital communication channels, management and techniques
• Up-to-date knowledge of the complete media landscape (including the latest trends in social media), activation and measurements

Your Responsibilities:

The Communication & PR Specialist role will partner with an area of the IKEA Australia business, to provide strategic communications advice and guidance. You will have 2 – 5 years experience in internal, external and digital communications and are capable of managing end-to-end campaigns from planning, execution and reporting.

• Be a communication expert within assigned business area and a direct contact and support for communication needs and advice on effective choices within specific function group
• Contribute to the communication strategic planning process to ensure appropriate buy-in to drive internal and external communication projects
• Build a deep understanding of business partners’ objectives in order to tie communications work directly to desired business outcomes
• Across internal and external channels (PR + Social), plan and execute effective communication and assist in the creation of materials for our leaders and co-workers to be our best ambassadors
• Contribute to and accelerate the digital delivery of Ingka communications and content to ensure a world-class Ingka experience across all digital touchpoints in the market
• Contribute/secure the process for country on-duty phone and media product loans
• Create communications plans for all initiatives that clearly demonstrate the link between desired business outcome and chosen communications activities
