Content & Communications Specialist

We are seeking a creative communications and content marketing specialist who has experience in crafting and executing highly impactful content and communications plans across our digital channels.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
As the Communications and Content Specialist you will be responsible for executing engaging content and communications strategies to both internal and external customers:

• Manage social channels and build a loyal and engaged online community
• Produce compelling content and copy as needed by the wider marketing and divisional teams for marketing campaigns/programs
• Manage freelancers and digital agencies
• Implement an integrated content strategy, ensuring that the company’s is positioned as a thought leader in the employment and education space.
• Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including social media, blog posts, whitepapers, videos, testimonials, success stories, infographics, etc.)
• Manage the curation and development of content on the MTC website and blog
• Manage internal communication channels and create a robust internal content calendar

About you
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications
• Strong knowledge in developing and implementing internal and external communications and digital content plans
• Demonstrated skills in crafting persuasive and engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels.
• Sound knowledge of media and materials production, communication and dissemination techniques and communication channels
• Confident in utilising varied marketing technologies including CRM, marketing automation and social media scheduling tools (Salesforce & Marketo)
• A solid understanding of digital content marketing
• Basic use of Adobe Photoshop & InDesign is desirable
