We are working with a boutique size agency that has fully pivoted into a remote based business – there is an office in Sydney but most enjoy the freedom and flexibility to work from home (or anywhere). The business has maintained a supportive team culture through strong leadership and collaboration tools. They are looking for an experienced Content Manager to join the team.

This role will see you conceptualising and creating a mixture of results driven content and direct response copy for assets such as landing pages, blog articles, eDMs, lead magnets, social ads and more. You will have support from content writers for blog articles and will take an editorial role a lot of the time, but may be required to write some articles from time to time. A large part of your day will include writing or overseeing direct response copy – full training will be provided around this.

Other areas of responsibility will include:
writing direct response copy and leading the ideation of coming up with the messaging angles to position products and services to target audience personas
create high performing content marketing strategies in line with SEO and commercial objectives
create, implement, and measure sophisticated digital marketing campaigns
create and/or oversee (as editor) the production of high performing, engaging content in line with SEO and commercial objectives
develop high converting, persuasive copy for paid media ads, landing pages, emails and any other relevant marketing assets
With this in mind, we’d expect that you’d be able to showcase this experience with key achievements in previous roles, and be able to highlight the following:
a strong editorial/journalist background and good understanding of marketing content strategy
experience in the agency environment (dealing with multiple clients)
solid understanding of digital marketing, particularly on-page SEO
amazing attention to detail – you can spot an error a mile away
examples of creating copy for different brand personas
you enjoy variety and working on different things at the same time – from landing pages to email campaigns to ad copy
amazing communication skills at all levels – from CEO’s to peers to junior team members
