Like any baby giraffe, we’re growing rapidly as our creative projects are blowing up digitally and on screen. We’ve got an amazing brand and an excellent portfolio, and our approach to collaboration is the secret sauce that made it all happen. This isn’t a pure Digital Marketing role in the sense that none of our roles are boxed in. We’re looking for someone with a passion for everything that they do; someone who wants the freedom to utilise that passion both to help us improve our digital footprint, as well as contribute to the Two Giraffes brand. Excuse the cliché – but this is truly a role where no two days will ever be the same. As a growing business we need someone to help us with every aspect of our marketing strategy; from ideation to execution, and everything else in between, and a little more as well. Initially, you’ll be our single source of marketing know-how, and so you’ll need to be someone who wants to get involved in helping a company scale. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we believe the opportunity is huge for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

Digital Marketing – Manage the execution and optimisation of the digital acquisition programs including but not limited to paid search, paid display and paid social
Social media – Manage our social media calendar and drive the development of content
SEO – manage agency relationships and ensure optimal results and accountability
EDM / email marketing – design, write and send out emails to customers and prospects such as our monthly newsletter etc.
Website – Create copy/ content for the website – so experience with a CMS is essential
CRM and lead handling – Manage our marketing leads pipeline and handle leads to appointment setting stage
Budgeting – manage expenses for marketing campaigns
Database management – manage internal databases
Digital Strategy – Develop and provide strategic recommendations to achieve maximum results for our clients’ videos
Adhoc marketing/sales admin where required

Ideal background…

Minimum 3-5 years experience working in a similar role or in an agency with relevant tertiary qualifications
Hands-on digital media experience in platforms such as Google AdWords, Display, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Analytics platform experience (Google Analytics etc)
Experience in website maintenance and use of CMS (WordPress etc)
Knowledge of email marketing platforms and CRM Hubspot
Experience in copywriting and creative ideation for online and social marketing campaigns
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign is highly desirable
Strong Powerpoint experience
Exceptional time management and organisational skills in a deadline-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills
You will have experience working with multiple brands at once, either within a parent brand (responsible for several brands within) or within an agency working with multiple clients at a time
You are highly motivated with a positive attitude
You are a self-starter willing to roll up your sleeves and figure it out
Experience with working to brand guidelines to maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
Experience in and a passion for video creation would be highly valued, but not essential
