Creative Director

The Who

Our client has a long history of success using creative thought and design to sell a message in the most effective and wide-reaching way possible, developing memorable brand stories.

They are passionate about helping their clients engage customers, clients, and colleagues to help them share a carefully crafted message that leaps off the page, screen, wherever, grabs them by the eyeballs, sells a story and makes them client look like a hero.

The What

You will be able to lead teams and think across creative disciplines. You will look for the interesting answers to briefs, finding distinctive and unique solutions. You will collaborate well with those around you and with external suppliers to bring these ideas to life.

You will be focussed on making interesting, fresh, and well-crafted work that gets results. You will think not in ‘Ad-Shaped holes’ but in big ideas. Ideas that can be transferable, media agnostic, and easily spread. Whether that’s a product, a movement, a piece of digital utility, an experience, or a piece of storytelling. We are looking for someone who solves business problems of all shapes with their creativity.

You will be confident in building client relationships and you will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of your client’s business issues and challenges.

The How

You will have a proven track record of doing interesting and celebrated creative and effective work. You will hold a strong creative portfolio and have worked on mid – large sized campaigns, which could range from brand, direct, and digital. You will be a big picture thinker and be as strategic as you can be tactical.

· You will be resilient, persuasive, cool under pressure, a leader with good energy, you will be hungry for success, inclusive, and inventive. You will own your role.

· A passion for interesting ideas and in creating original solutions that connect with customers

· An ability to interpret and respond to client problems with appropriate creative solution

· A desire to build the creative reputation of the agency

· Ability to be able to bring ideas to life through execution

· An ability to talk persuasively and compellingly about strategy and creative work

· A growth mindset and a collaborative spirit

· Previous experience working as a Creative Director across multiple categories
