Meet Jack.

The Sydney office of Jack Morton Worldwide is looking for a razor-sharp Creative Strategist to join its team. As a Creative Strategist you are responsible for making sure issues are framed and defined, that the insight-gathering activities are carried out and defined for the development of creative ideas, and that the narrative throughout our work reflects creative and business strategy.

What you’ll be doing:
• Build strategic platforms that provide creative guidance and form the basis for creative ideas for new and existing opportunities
• Own strategy throughout pitches and client work to deliver compelling strategic stories
• Manage, as well as do stellar research and analysis, to develop fresh insights and strong POVs that establish a solid foundation for pitches and client work
• Participate in developing the creative brief, articulating key insights and a clear point of view, and ensuring that our strategic/ideas narrative is represented in all deliverables
• Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure effective connections through all agency disciplines relative to client work
What we’re looking for:
• 5-8 years in a strategic role providing services within a marketing firm, creative agency or relevant consulting firm. Digital experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/communications, or relevant liberal arts discipline
• Strong verbal presentation/storytelling skills, superior writing skills and excellent interpersonal relationship building skills. Presentation building/design skills are a plus
• Experience in research/analysis, digital, social and measurement/analytics service offerings within a marketing organisation
• Demonstration of key competencies: accountability for business results, client focus, team effectiveness, developing others and creative thinking
