Culture Marketing Account Director

Thinking Loud are experts in music, youth culture and brand marketing. Our client roster includes global brands such as Boiler Room, Red Bull, Spotify, Bacardi, Jameson, Southern Comfort and JBL, as well as music clients such as Sampa The Great, REMI, Kaiit, Touch Sensitive, Winston Surfshirt, Hayden James, Flight Facilities and Cut Copy.

Due to recent client wins the team is growing! We’re looking for a highly skilled Culture Marketing Account Director to join our Sydney office on a full-time basis.

Role:

– Be the lead senior client contact across all brand x Culture Marketing clients.

– Be accountable for the end to end delivery of creative and cultural campaign ideas and execution.

– Support the Culture Marketing team in executing client campaigns, project delivery, mentoring and managing an internal team of 6 + external partners.

– Manage the development of team members with HR support.

Responsibilities:

– Responsible for managing the Culture Marketing team to deliver campaigns on budget with target profit margins realised, reporting to the Head Of Culture Marketing.

– Support on new business outreach (strategy, creative ideas, forecasting and execution) alongside senior agency team.

– Develop compelling and strategically sound creative ideas and campaigns, driving flawless execution of experiential activation plans.

– Ensure each team member is working efficiently and at the right level, fostering a collaborative, supportive culture where accountability is expected and big ideas encouraged.

– Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, agency partners and industry figures.

– Manage and respond to client campaign briefs – managing the response process in full – brief / strategy / ideas / partnerships / comms.

– Manage internal and client budgets, assisting in the revenue forecasting for the business on behalf of your team.

– Implementing and maintaining efficient, robust process.

– Manage the review process for team members.

– Problem solve all challenges for client and internal team members.

– Contribute to the positive agency culture and live by the company values.

Requirements:
– 5+ years in an agency environment
– Signifiant knowledge of managing and executing experiential and content campaigns.
– High level proficiency in Keynote
– Event production and experience is highly valued
– Strong knowledge of pop-culture landscape
– Passion for music, fashion, design and art
