Digital Advertising Specialist

This job is open to people living in Darwin or travelling distance to Winnellie NT 0830. Work hours would be 12:50 pm – 08:30 pm, 38 hours a week.

We are a private provider of high-quality specialised training services. We are currently looking for an Advertising and Marketing Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for your creativity, advertising and brand management experience, coupled with your strong computer skills with Microsoft and Adobe software packages as well as online platforms. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will see you succeed in influencing the company growth through meticulously crafted advertising campaigns following our marketing strategy guidelines and working within a budget. Your strong research and analytical skills will help us develop new education programs tailored to our target market, raise awareness and elevate the exposure of our company. You will also have an advanced knowledge of WordPress and have the ability to create landing pages and optimise our website based on current trends and best practises relative to our consumer target market.

As the Digital Advertising Specialist you will be responsible for :

• driving clients to our business through implementing and reporting on strategies based on your consumer analysis and market research
• start-to-finish advertising and marketing strategies
• planning and executing PPC Google Ads and digital advertising campaigns
• ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms and conversion-oriented campaigns
• advising on promotions and platforms to be used for optimal campaign results and ROI
• driving our digital paid media strategy by planning, monitoring and optimising all our online advertising accounts
• researching and analysing current trends and competitors to identify opportunities for business growth
• monitoring and implementing plans for SEM and SEO
• plan and implement digital advertising on social media platforms including Facebook advertising
• providing monthly and quarterly reports including response tracking, campaign reporting and proposed optimisation tactics

The accepted applicant will be working closely with the General Manager and key stakeholders.

Skills required :

– Strong analytical skills – know how to present data in an organised manner and implement solutions for the promotion of the business and effective targeting of customers
– Expertise in creating digital marketing materials
– Proven Copywriting and content management skills
– Strong Google Analytics skills
– Be proficient in Google AdWords including Paid Search and Remarketing
– Experience with social media advertising campaigns
– Advanced tracking and spreadsheet skills including Microsoft Office
– Self-motivation
– Attention to detail
– A love for design and advertising
– Academic qualifications in marketing or communications
– 2-3 years experience in a similar role
