We have a new opportunity for a Digital Channel Strategist with a service excellence ethos to join the newly realigned SC&E team at Ambulance Victoria (AV). This is a full-time, ongoing position with flexible location at AV’s Doncaster or Port Melbourne offices. Design, deliver and evaluate dynamic and engaging digital channel and content strategies that deliver on the Division’s purpose and the Ambulance Victoria (AV) Strategic Plan. Partner with the business to conceptualise, implement and evaluate digital strategies and campaigns that drive customer-experience innovation. The role also has responsibility for the development of impactful internal digital programs to maximise staff engagement. Work in collaboration with the wider SC&E Division to integrate digital channel and content strategies into planning for communication and engagement programs, projects and initiatives.

About the role
To be successful you will need to demonstrate you are: agile and flexible; flourish in dynamic, fast-paced environments; commitment to the SC&E vision and change agenda and lastly be collaborative, communal and cross-functional in your approach. Reporting to the Digital & Content Manager, the main duties of the role also include (but are not limited to):
•Developing and maintaining digital channel and content strategies to engage the community in a way that promotes and protects AV’s reputation.
•Developing and maintaining digital channel and content strategies to build staff engagement with and understanding of AV’s strategic direction and priorities.
•Offering advice and guidance based on customer experience, data and insight, contemporary digital services and future trends, security and privacy
•Providing input to measurement frameworks that evaluate the success of digital channel and content strategies and programs. This includes gathering, analysing and reporting on patient, partner and people feedback and outcomes.

About you
To be considered for this position you will possess a tertiary qualification in Digital, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or related discipline, with in depth experience working in roles in complex organisations, preferably in Health or Emergency Services field. You will have proven experience developing, implementing and evaluating digital channel and content strategies; coupled with experience in developing, executing and evaluating digital campaigns via multiple digital channels including; paid and organic search, 3rd party platforms, campaign sites and EDMs. We are looking for someone who has sound judgement and ethical behaviour in making and influencing quality decisions, developing innovative solutions. It is advantageous to hold an understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and methodologies.
