Digital Content Coordinator

AFTRS is Australia’s Screen and Broadcast School, established to fuel and empower Australian creativity and storytelling. AFTRS is consistently rated as one of the top film School’s in the world.

We are looking for an experienced Digital Content Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and updating content across AFTRS digital channels including website and social channels. You will have strong writing skills and extensive expertise working with WordPress CMS, developing content that uses SEO best practise and have an understanding of CRM integration

This is an exciting role working within a highly creative and engaged team, reporting to the Digital Communications & Content Manager.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

1. Proven experience in a similar role including social media advertising, particularly Facebook, and application of SEO best practice, preferably in education, arts or cultural organisation
2. Demonstrated skills and experience in social media community management that achieves audience growth, engagement and commercial objectives
3. Successful track record in writing and developing digital content that increases engagement and meets objectives
4. Organised and proactive with strong copywriting skills, attention to detail and focus on quality
5. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:

1. Skills in shooting and editing video and stills photography
2. Familiarity with AFTRS and the screen and broadcast industry
3. Knowledge of film history
4. Experience working with Marketing Cloud

Salary: $62,010 – $64,756 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits package. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
