Digital Content Producer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketer with a pro-active attitude, a well-honed eye for detail and thirst for creativity. This full-time position is responsible for the development and implementation of innovative digital content strategies in line with the Malthouse Theatre’s ongoing strategic goals of audience and revenue growth.


The ideal candidate will be a creative and collaborative self-starter, and an integral part of growing Malthouse Theatre’s audience, reach and revenue across our digital platforms. The candidate will possess a capacity to navigate the ever-changing digital space with finesse and will work collaboratively to deliver under pressure. They will be a digital leader with a capacity to meet KPIs and possess an innovative approach to digital content development.

• A demonstrable capacity to lead and drive digital audience growth across a range of platforms.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in developing and implementing digital strategic marketing and audience development strategies.
• Demonstrated evidence of creating and managing innovative social media and digital campaigns.
• Demonstrated ability to manage demanding workloads and competing priorities with a high level of motivation, initiative and commitment to achieving targets.
• Exceptional attention to detail, an analytical reporting capacity and an ability to work collaboratively with peers.

• Proficient in the use of Tessitura and Wordfly (or similar platforms); Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; and Google Analytics.
• A passion and demonstrated understanding of the arts and cultural sector.
• Experience managing the implementation of a major digital redevelopment campaign desired.
