Exciting newly created Sydney based opportunity of Digital Designer (APAC). Are you a Digital Designer looking for a genuine opportunity to be seen as a thought leader? Are you looking to join a global leader in a technology led company? If so look no further.

Your day-to-day will involve concepting and designing – from brief to execution across all brand and lead generation based digital marketing campaigns.

The Digital Designer will form a pivotal role of the Marketing Team and will be responsible for primarily developing conceptual ideas into digital assets and social media content.

What your day will look like at Crestron!

● Your role is approximately 60% production, 30% ideation, 10% exploration
● You will collaborate with key stakeholders such as regional Marketing Managers, Digital Marketing Specialist, Graphic Designers, Copywriter/s and Product Manager across Asia Pacific to develop campaign ideas and how these can be brought to life across all channels
● Conceptualise, create and design digital assets including landing pages, eDMs, digital banners, social media assets i.e. gifs, video snips, stills (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
● Design and storyboard online ads
● Conceptualise photoshoot (products etc) on required imageries for campaigns if needed
● Design, develop and execute engaging, innovative digital marketing content
● Stay current on industry trends across digital platforms
● Edit video and graphics projects for distribution across social and digital platforms

Qualifications and skills

● A minimum 2+ years working as a designer in a web development firm and/or marketing/advertising agency
● Degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design and/or industry experience preferred
● Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)
● A natural design sense for digital: layout, typography and imagery
● Broad understanding of user experience and UI practices
● Experience in presenting and rationalising creative solutions
● Excellent attention to detail is critical
● Interest in photography will be an added advantage
● Experience producing communications material for digital channels primarily – website, social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), eDMs, landing pages
● An understanding of artistic fundamentals, including line, form, texture, colour and how these affect users
● Experience in photography will be an added advantage
