Digital Group Sales Manager

$125K – $135K Annual Salary

Your new company

Leading global youth media company which operates in 30 different countries and distributes to hundreds of million viewers across digital, linear, mobile, film and socials. Headquarters in Australia is based in very cool office in Eastern Suburbs.

Your new role

Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for identifying revenue opportunities and achieving annual sales revenue targets by expanding the advertising customer base across key media platforms. You will develop, grow and increase advertising and branded content revenue from media agencies and direct clients, working closely with internal stakeholders to drive revenue in New South Wales.

Your clients come for non-traditional solutions, and you’ll be the champion of and a key thought-leader in educating your clients on this way of working. You will be working alongside the Commercial and Strategy teams to drive New Business, working on pitches to deliver compelling answers to their business challenges, to transform their communications, their products, their categories. As you win these businesses, you’ll take a key role in leading them ongoing, developing deep client partnerships and great work.

You will also play an integral role in managing the sales team of 2 Senior Account Managers in Sydney and its success within the sales division.

To be successful you will need
6+ years of media sales experience including 2+ years of digital and management experience
Wide network of industry contacts across both NSW agency and direct clients
Strong history of exceeding sales budgets
An ambitious self-starter with a passion for advertising sales and a good understanding of the digital landscape, particularly video and social media
Demonstrates good grasp creative concepts and measurements metrics for branded content and sponsorship deals
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate the needs of clients and agencies effectively to the team;
Sales and details oriented.
