Digital Marketer

Due to ongoing success and planned growth, we require a hands-on, data-oriented, technically minded Digital Marketing Specialist, responsible for improving the search traffic to drive new leads to the business as well as improving search engine optimisation to grow and protect the brand reputation.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping who we are. This is also the perfect opportunity for someone to take the leap from agency to client side while working in a business where you can really make your mark.

We are looking for someone to take a lead role with hands on experience, working collaboratively with the marketing and content team to:
• Plan, manage and execute an SEO strategy to increase traffic to the websites
• Perform ongoing business keyword discovery, expansion and optimization in order for them to rank on top of SERPs
• Develop and implement link building strategy.
• Analysing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
• Consistently review and improve search engine optimisation to grow and protect the brand reputation.
• Identify opportunities to execute lead generation campaigns to capture client leads for the business
• Recommend, plan and improve elements of the platform to increase traffic
• Write persuasive ad copy that speaks to the target market
• Work closely with the content team and help improve conversion rates and organic growth
• Create, manage and optimise campaigns within Google Ads and Bing Ads platforms
• Action changes on the website when required as part of the overall digital strategy
• An understanding of HTML, CSS, platforms like WordPress, and familiarity with basic server and hosting concepts
• Use reporting tools such as rank tracking software and Google Analytics in order to identify opportunities, successes and losses
• Provide regular reporting on traffic, feedback and insights to the wider team to improve product and business initiatives

About You
• 2-3+ years strong knowledge and demonstrated experience of SEO, PPC and other digital marketing strategies (preferably B2B)
• Proven history of successful SEO and PPC campaigns directly attributed to business growth
• Experience with WordPress, SEO tools, Google Analytics, GTM, Trends and Keyword Tools.
• Highly organised, quick learner, proactive, persistent, accurate and with a positive attitude
• A creative thinker with a “doer” mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Analytical and Data-driven, using data to understand what’s working, what’s not and what to do next
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
