Digital Marketing Manager

About the role:

In conjunction with the marketing team, the Digital Marketing Manager will develop and implement digital and social strategies across SEM/SEO, social media, EDM and website to maximise conversions and minimise cost. They’ll manage the conceptualisation and execution of digital content and through the use of reporting tools will analyse activity and presence, and make recommendations for improvements to senior stakeholders. Other responsibilities include:

• Analyse the long-term needs of the company’s social media and overall digital strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
• Manage location-based marketing initiatives
• Manage promotional microsites and liaise with IT team to stand up new sites and set up domains
• Manage the placement of all digital content within Pickles owned or affiliated sites
• Monitor external resources for mentions of Pickles
• Develop, evaluate and oversee implementation of any testing with regard to digital and social strategy
• Conduct research for insight into new digital targeting opportunities
• Monitor and report on competitive set
• Lead marketing innovation and the use of new tools for marketing initiatives

About you:

• 5+ years in digital/social marketing
• Strong knowledge of social media and website metrics and best practices
• Strong experience with email marketing and SEM/SEO
• Experience working with digital and social reporting tools
• Able to explain and simplify complex social media data
• Advanced proficiency with major social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram.)
• Experience with social media community management
• Experience with digital content development
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, Kentico and WordPress preferred
• Exceptional project management skills and ability to multi-task
• Pro-active and able to problem-solve
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Past agency or vendor management preferred
• Tertiary qualification in marketing or related field
