Digital Marketing Manager

This role is an asap start but we’re equally happy to wait for the right person. We’ll onboard people remotely to start with and start a phased return to the office when we’re able.

As our new Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll have the ability to truly make an impact in a highly respected and active independent agency. This is a leadership role that will help drive our capability and growth. It’s a role that will have responsibility for client engagements and also leading our own marketing efforts.

You’ll find us to be a pretty affable bunch. We like being an independent business. We like not being constrained by big agency politics. We like getting close (but no closer than 1.5m) to clients because we know that deeper, more meaningful relationships yield the best results. We like collaborating with each other. And clients. We like doggos in the office. But not for a few more weeks yet.

We have a feeling that this person we hire for this role:

Is a highly skilled & competent Digital Marketing leader with expertise across content, social, online analytics, channels, CRM and marketing automation leading practices.

Is a genuine and open human who finds their personal motivation in achievement and excellence.

Has what we’d describe as a commercial growth mindset.

Gets their fulfilment by delivering results to, at times, complex client challenges.

Will have had experience across several industry domains, meaning they’ll have learned through trial and error and can advise us and clients on how to achieve the outcomes needed.

Is a Digital Marketer with experience developing digital marketing strategies that deliver commercial outcomes.

Has an appreciation for and understanding of Data and Analytics. We’re not hiring you to be a data scientist but if you know enough to be dangerous that’s a good thing.

Is commercially astute, meaning they know how to price and structure proposals.

Is most likely a thinker/doer meaning they are equally comfortable talking strategically internally as they are presenting to clients about real projects.

Has an eye on future trends and innovations.

The key responsibilities of the role are;

Play a leading role in leading our Digital Marketing Strategy.

Supporting client engagements through to completion.

Help to support and guide the longer-term success of the business through current and new business growth

Leading a small yet focussed team.

Actively contributing to the development of the people in that team.
