Digital Media Sales – Agency Sales Role

From a media perspective they have an incredibly strong sales proposition based mainly around reach and targeting capability:

Plus the vast majority of their campaigns are targeted by demographics and environment.

This sees them competing with major media companies like News, Nine and Seven.

Based in Sydney but with a commitment to flexible working conditions, they have a very modern mindset around work.

This is a chance to join their sales team and handle some of the most important agencies in town, plus assorted major clients, across the full range of industry verticals.

Although they already have excellent relationships and key accounts within agencies, you still need to be able to hustle for new accounts and for increased revenue spend and market share.

Yes you will be a proven relationship builder but they still want a real sales person too!

So they are looking for a candidate who is highly strategic and has strong credentials in relationship building but who also possesses a BDM mentality; while they of course receive briefs, they want to get further up the planning funnel, to help drive the revenue growth they need.

Existing relationships within key agencies is clearly going to be an important factor in who they hire. You need to able to show a great track record at building relationships and business within Sydney’s media agencies.

There is some flexibility on the salary package, depending upon your sales pedigree within these agencies, so consider that as c$110-120k base + super + commission (OTE is 25-30% of your base salary).
