Digital Media Sales – Senior Sales Role

This Digital global media company specilaises in technology, gaming and men’s lifestyle categories, reaching well over 3 million Australians per month.

We’re still growing and we need your help. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 3 Account Managers and a Co-ordinator.

This is a role that sees you blending your managerial and leadership skills with being responsible for vitally important sales revenue streams into the business.

The ideal candidate has strong digital experience and existing agency contacts in NSW particularly.

Some management experience is helpful, potentially having a couple of AMs report to you in previous roles. They are not looking for a highly experienced long-term manager; they’re looking for someone to start as Sales Manager and grow into more senior managerial roles over time.

The role comes with its own agency patch but requires someone with the swagger to attend meetings across the other AMs patches as the senior figure in the team.

So you will need to enjoy those twin blends of activity and have the time management capabilities to ensure both elements are handled superbly.

On the sales revenue side, your focus will be on selling to the full range of clients/accounts, incorporating major media agencies, large corporates and also smaller, specialist IT operators who live and breathe this market.

You need to have the adaptability in sales style, approach and personality to handle that adaptation.

Salary Package – c$100-110k base (maybe a bit higher for the perfect candidate!)
+ sup + commission
