Digital Planner/ Strategist (AEM, AA)

We are now seeking a motivated Digital Data Planner to join us. This new addition to the agency will play a pivotal role in supporting the agency’s newly developed e-commerce division, supporting our client, a Global leader in Consumer Electronics.

Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Planner will partner with our client and regional headquarters to assist in enhancing the client’s e-commerce performance and dotcom operations, in order to increase conversion and ROI.

Duties and responsibility will include (but not limited to)

Review and analyse website, content and sales performance in order to make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to client such as purchase propensity segmentation analysis based on web and digital media behaviour
Interpret research findings and generate consumer insight that enables creative communication solutions
Monitor user engagement levels from both client website and ecommerce websites and push communications
Measure and monitor performance of content, adoption of new features and post production builds
Regular data extraction from data sources such as Adobe Experience Manger and Google Analytics
Identify gaps in company SEO strategy across websites and measure results
Improve online visibility through on-page improvements and track organic search rankings
Use internal methodologies, frameworks and tools to gather and analyse online consumer behaviours, market trends and competitive data
Define data gathering/analytics projects, work with Insights and Analytics team through them and use insights to plan E-commerce strategies
Analyse and develop CDJ enhancement initiatives – designing CDJ scenarios and strategies to support the development of digital communications
Craft E-commerce content recommendations and plan communication on category and brand levels, developing proposals for future enhancements and initiatives
Compile, identify trends, and evaluate data to support the E-Commerce team (client) in decision-making
Analyse inherent functionalities and services and advice how to use them to optimize relevant KPIs on the path to purchase
Identify and analyse KPIs on web traffic and lead conversion funnels
Closely cooperate with E-commerce Designers, by developing creative briefs for internal briefings, and other divisions to implement your recommendations

About you

Tertiary qualification in Marketing and/or Strategy (or similar)
6 years + previous planning experience or in a similar role
Web analytics (Adobe analytics or Google analytics) and digital media experience (Google Search & Display, Facebook AD) from campaign planning / execution / performance analytics
Previous experience or knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager preferential
Knowledge of E-commerce KPIs and their usage
Understanding of basic concepts of marketing and sales; consumer decision journey, brand positioning, shopping mission, ROI, conversion, price elasticity
Knowledge of User Experience and Information Architecture design principles
Excellent verbal, written and visual presentation skills
High skillset in MS Office
Results-driven, open-minded and positive personality
Ability to work independently, be flexible, and have good time management skills
