Digital Strategist

An independent creative Agency in Melbourne is on the hunt for a rising Digital Strategist to join the team. This is an opportunity to lead the Digital offering at the Agency, while being supported in strategy, tools and training.

This person will be responsible for developing digital strategy across the entire agency portfolio, and working closely with the Head of Strategy to ensure alignment with brand and marketing strategies.

This role has an active contribution to drive growth. Being a flat structure organisation, the role requires to be hands on with the client at times and new business proposals. They are expected to be highly organised, task orientated and collaborative – always striving to drive projects forward and enhance efficiency.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:

* Helping clients solve marketing problems with strategic thinking, and being pro-active in new ideas & concepts.
* Monitor market trends and identify new digital opportunities.
* Using data, trends, market insights, and logic to develop strategic recommendations and develop meaningful insights.
* Develop integrated digital media strategies and help develop CX and CRM roadmaps.
* Keeps up to date with any commercial information pertaining to the brand, clients and their competitors.
* Prepare and present presentations to clients.
* Oversee the implementation of digital media plans with the support of the Senior Social/Content Manager and Account Service team.
*Analyse campaign metrics, prepare performance reports, and provide recommendations.
* Working closely with and mentoring the Senior Social/Content Manager to oversee reporting and ensure smooth running of digital campaigns and content across clients.
* Understanding the client’s marketing objectives in terms of sales, market share and competition.
* Building & maintaining relationships and trusted partnerships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
* Presenting and selling creative solutions and marketing recommendations to clients.
* Briefing media agencies and overseeing implementation of digital media plans.
Reporting into Head of Strategy/Managing Director.
