Director of Creative Solutions

Join OMD Create, the social media and branded content unit within OMD. We work in the areas of social media strategy, planning and implementation; media, investment, reporting, brand content, promotions, events, and experiential marketing with the aim of using branded content to create exciting, engaging marketing campaigns for clients.

We are looking for a Director of Creative Solutions who will work in collaboration with the content and social teams to lead the ideation, conception and implementation process of all OMD creative solutions (social media, online content, digital display and interactive OOH.

OMD Create provide social, content and creative experience to some of Australia’s well-known brands including; Estee Lauder companies, Qantas, Telstra, Coles and McDonalds.

Key Responsibilities:

– Taking a brief from conception to execution and deliver creative ideation, guidance and direction on a range of creative projects.
– Ensure data analyst is engaged to guarantee every response is data driven
– Develop fully integrated creative strategies and ideation to ensure no repetition
– Create and manage consistency of client facing documents, translating thoughts & briefs into clear, data-driven and articulate recommendations
– Ensure internal and external partnerships are nurtured on an ongoing basis, so opportunities continue to arise, and issues/feedback are dealt with in a timely feedback-first manner
– Project manage the team’s day-to-day work, ensuring all activities follow best practice, processes and sign off
– Deliver timely post campaign reporting that quantifies creative optimization and evolution
– Manage direct reports delivery of campaign delivery
– Be informed and able to discuss media trends and current industry issues
– Ensure a SOW is delivered for every project, and client changes (goal posts) are captured
– Accountable for team work being delivered on time and on budget

Essential Experience and skills:

– 8+ years of relevant creative and digital media experience
– Proven experience using insight and data to develop creative solutions
– Demonstrated experience across digital, content, social and creative
– Client leadership skills and strong previous experience in client facing
– People management experience in fast paced environment
