Director of Tech, Strategy, Product and Solutions ANZ – Programmatic & Analytics

They are looking for a Director of Tech, Strategy, Product and Solutions ANZ to head up their fastest growing department in the region to work with their agency and client partners to help them find solutions utilising analytics capabilities. You will work and lead international and local teams to deliver bespoke build projects to help them overcome major business challenges where data, insights and advanced analytics can help and how that is applied to media and marketing.

You will be part of the senior leadership team and will work with the Head of operations, Sales director, MD as well as the global leadership, product and analytics teams in their international markets, ensuring the global strategy and vision is executed across ANZ.

THE COMPANY & ROLE

They have rolled out some amazing projects and have notable case studies with all the agency holding groups and their clients – working with them on things like leveraging their data and analytics capabilities by building a data science model to work with their DMP to gain insights into their consumers.

Other projects include helping clients work out big data issues that have led to cost savings by the client within the millions.

You will manage a team here in Sydney who are doing the hands on work plus have a dotted line into a large offshore team (developers, big data scientists etc.) The company have a LOT of resource to create some impressive projects.

Your role would be an entrepreneurial one where you will lead the performance and revenue from analytics opportunities with existing agencies and new clients and work with internal teams to devise solutions that meet client and internal goals aligning to their strategic goals.

WHO THEY NEED:

• They need someone that understands where they fit in the market AND what parts of the business and their analytics capabilities they can leverage to different agencies, their clients business problems and different agency people. Someone that understands the dynamic of agency holding groups, their pressure points and challenges.
• Someone that can understand and identify the gaps within technology and analytics capabilities within the agency groups
• Someone that is commercial, strategic, technical, understands analytics, programmatic and product that can understand how tactical they can be at leveraging the clients challenges and explain things easily to clients.
• Someone that can solve challenges and can be an evangelist within the market and with clients. There will be opportunity to be a thought leader within the space should you chose to.

WHO YOU WILL BE:

• 8+ years minimum experience in media, programmatic trading, or a technical client-facing role, coming from agency, consultancy, DMP, DSP or adTech background.
• Perhaps you will be a Programmatic Lead or Director of Data & Technology within a programmatic trading desk where you are finding solutions for clients and have an even strategic, commercial and technical skill set.
• Passion to build AdTech, and work in the media analytics and programmatic advertising space
• Strong communication skills coupled with technical aptitude, strategic thinking and creative problem solving
• Possess high emotional IQ, leadership confidence and gravitas, agility, patience, and prior small team management experience a big plus
• Working technical knowledge with any of the following platforms and tools would be an advantage: Excellent Excel use, SQL, AWS, Google Suite, any DSP and/or DMPs
