The Role
QSuper have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Editor – Communications to join our Customer & Marketing team on a 12 month, fixed term basis.

Utilising your skills obtained in a similar role, you will work closely with Segment Marketing Specialists and other stakeholders across member and employer channels and will assist in the design and execution of campaigns, product and services communications via holistic content strategies, to improve customer engagement, brand recognition and reach amongst members, employers and external advisor customer groups.

As a key member of the Customer & Marketing business unit, you will write and edit a large volume of high quality communications tailored to the various communication channels (e.g. digital and direct mail campaigns, news and blog articles, web content, social media, guides and publications). You will also possess strong stakeholder collaboration skills as well as the ability to inspire your team to drive business outcomes by streamlining and amplifying content.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal Editor – Communications will have:

• A relevant tertiary education
• At least 5 years’ experience in a media environment or marketing agency, preferably within a financial services environment. Associated experience influencing internal and external stakeholders and managing competing priorities
• Experience in writing for all media and across multiple platforms, with proven success in creating and editing engaging copy (teamed with design) that achieves specified member and employer outcomes. Excellent grasp of the written language, including grammar, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and produce quality work under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• A passion for coming up with innovative, creative concepts that push the brand, while remaining relevant and on-brief. Associated ability to research market intelligence on competitors and aligned industries to provide a better understanding of the competitive environment and to identify strengths, weaknesses and trends across print and digital channels
• A skill for turning technical and sometimes quite complex content into meaningful and simple messages
• The ability to drive regular content performance reviews to ensure the communications plans continue to evolve for the various market segments and continue to meet performance metrics.
