Event Director

– Inner SYD CBD location
– $90K – $105K Package
– Leading boutique Events Agency

An energetic and fun boutique specialising in event production is on the hunt for a highly organised, motivated and switched-on Event Director. If you’re a team leader with commercial know-how and excellent initiative- lets chat!

The role:

– Management of client events from concept, through to final execution
– Mentor and lead a team of event managers
– Proposals and pitches, meeting agendas, event briefs, run sheets, and event packs
– Prepare and manage budgets
– Liaise closely with the General Manager to ensure effective workflow
– Work with creatives within agency and external suppliers to ensure all events run smoothly and are executed to perfection


– 5+ years experience in a similar role
– A working knowledge of production and an understanding of food, beverage and hospitality
– Excellent organisational and time management skills
– Excellent communication and people management skills
– Advanced Microsoft Office skills – word, excel, powerpoint and outlook
– Ability to co-ordinate people and meet deadlines
– Be proactive and show initiative
