Executive Assistant / Sales

It’s right there in the title… we’re looking for an exceptional EA to support the executive leadership of our newly created Sales department. This fast paced and pivotal role within the team requires a highly intuitive and flexible person capable of thinking on their feet and ensuring things run smoothly within the department.

Responsibilities will include:
• Executive level support to the Chief Sales Officer and National Sales Director
• Complex diary management, prioritisation and co-ordination of internal and external meetings, travel coordination
• High level team communication when Executives are out of the office and relationship management of internal and external stakeholders
• Research detailed information and prepare all key paperwork, including correspondence, meeting documentation and presentation needs as required
• Advanced secretarial and administrative responsibilities; including phone & email priorities, minutes of meetings, collation of reports, expense reconciliation, employee inductions, conference calls, organisation of events & functions, and other duties as required

About you – this is what we’re looking for:
• Demonstrated experience and success in a similar role, preferably within the media industry
• Adaptability to Change: ability to adjust to change and uncertainty, able to shift gears and can act in ambiguous or uncertain situations; ability to improvise, multi-task and prioritise in a fast paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude and fosters cross-unit collaboration; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a deadline driven environment
• Communication: outstanding ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; able to build relationships within the Sales team, with EA’s across departments, and with other Executives across the Network
• Personality: bright, bubbly, helpful and positive in attacking any task or challenge
• Trust and integrity; you understand and act in accordance with 10’s organisational values; is widely trusted
• Proactive problem solver: In conjunction with others, works to take a proactive approach to anticipating, preventing and solving problems

• Good knowledge and appreciation for Network 10’s programmes, brand and personality
• A great sense of humour and ability to smile even in difficult situations

Something else to consider:
In this role, you will have a large amount of personal contact with senior Network Executives and the wider television industry; as a result, this role requires a great deal of confidentiality and discretion.
