What to bring

Personality is as important as skills and experience. Commitment, passion, inspired action, business acumen, solid understanding of media, marketing and publicity are a must.

Excellent writing (English first language), top-notch communication and phone skills blended with a willingness to learn and a good degree of coachability will place you well to fit into our team culture.

Great time management skills (incl. time tracking), be super organised and able to think on your feet, get things done and done properly, are as highly regarded as celebrating your wins and being able to collaborate with everyone – right across the team.

Ability to commit to travel to and from our office near St Kilda and Chadston as required – 3 days per week (to start with) and tackling your workload head on, including being hands-on at any of our events (some night-time and weekends) and to want to see everything you touch come to fruition – is really a prerequisite for you to join our family of committed professionals.

Also, you have a well-functioning laptop and smartphone, live with an open heart and mind, and are able to work as part of a team as well as independently.

You love to laugh and get things done too!

What we offer

Our office is a relaxed environment where you can be yourself. We are nestled close to public transport (500 meters), oodles of cafes and the beach. We provide endless cuppas and the full kitchen lets you nurture body (food) and soul (chocolate) as you bring all your mind has to offer to the table.

We operate on an open leadership model which provides open scope for you to contribute in more ways than one, where you have full access to all levels of the team, and creativity and contribution are not only valued but encouraged.

We offer a Part-Time Contract position (to start with) – with the scope to go full-time and become an integral part of our family. Work days are Tuesday – Thursday plus odd days/hours for events, occasions and the like.

Occasionally, we work out of our Chadston office, so ability to navigate public transport or drive yourself is required – away from the coastal (250meters to the beach) HQ office.

We believe in opening doors, so you will be able to apply and expand your skills across diverse projects, client accounts and workflow. You will be taught, coached and supported and can contribute your expertise and who you are – freely.

You will collaborate with a diverse mulit-disciplinary team, ability to lean out of your area of comfort and knowledge to gain new skills and in the process fast-track your learning and career/portfolio development.
