Food Stylist / Photographer

What do we do?
We help big brands convert online advertising into in-store sales. We do this through a mixture of smart tech, strategic planning, creative and smart media buying, often automating the adaptation of national campaigns into local executions at scale. We’re also at the cutting edge of tracking online customers into the real world, helping identify how online ads drive footfall into stores.

Who are you?
You are a unicorn! That is, you are a great food stylist, who can also shoot their own work and make it beautiful. We have a range of FMCG clients who require ongoing product videography and photography in a studio setting.

To be successful:
You’ve probably already got mad skills:
– You’re someone who lives and breathes food (naturally).
– Proficient in food styling. You possess food preparation, cooking, baking and decorating skills.
– You’re a whiz at recipe development.
– Proficient in photography and videography.
– A bright understanding of studio lighting.
– A natural creative thinker with the confidence to share ideas with the team.
– Insane project management, verbal and written communication skills.
– The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects concurrently.
– Can work autonomously in our studio in Cremorne.
– Be available for roughly a total of 3 days each week – whilst being flexible around key photoshoot days.
– You must provide a portfolio of work that shows experience in food styling, photography and videography.

Your typical day:
There is no average day at Tiger Pistol. Our work is varied, and so is this role, which makes it fun, always interesting and gives you the chance to learn a lot about a lot of things. Your job will include things like:
– Being responsible for coordination of photography shoots.
– Creating high quality and creative videography/photography
– Being responsible for creating ongoing and consistent content, and working closely with our Art Director.
– Organise and keep the kitchen, tools, prep & prop areas clean.
– Work closely with the creative team to develop creative direction (look & feel), as well as develop recipe plans for clients.

– Work in an open plan converted warehouse in the heart of Cremorne;
