Freelance Social Media Manager/Writer

My client is after a Social Media Manager/Content Writer who is able to manage their social media channel feeds, across two brands, on site in their offices in Hawthorn.

They are looking for a junior with excellent writing skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously, adopting the brand/s tone of voice. Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and experience within all social media channels is required.

You will be responsible for the social media and digital content, engaging with our customers across all social communities including their website, Facebook and LinkedIn. You’ll need to contribute to improving their social advertising revenue and developing their online presence. You will be working across fuel services and a great snack food franchise.

Responsibilities will include:

Responding to customer queries / complaints via email, Facebook, Instagram and twitter.
Updating any changes to store details ie
– Stores websites (wordpress)
– Internal documents
– Google my business

Posting on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Creating ads through Business Manager (Facebook and Instagram)
Creating social media plans/diaries, communicating with the graphic designers and extended marketing team.
Any additional admin tasks.

This is a freelance role and start date asap (mid Jan) for approx 3 weeks – could become a full time role.
