Headquartered in Brisbane, the business is supported by offices in both Sydney and Melbourne.

The Role

In this newly created dynamic role working closely with the Joint Manager Directors, the General Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the business in both Direct and Agency Markets, maximising existing core capabilities and expanding competitive advantage through the development and management of customer driven sales strategy and strong Team Management.

The successful applicant will have:
• Experience and meaningful networks in the Agency Advertising market in Sydney (and ideally Melbourne)
• Strategic mindset and deep understanding of the Australian Advertising market and opportunities going forward.
• Proven Sales Leadership experience with the gravitas and depth to develop, lead and grow the business across Sales Generation (Agency and Direct), Service Delivery and industry Operations.
• A leader who can motivate the team to exceed targets and bring them along with her or him to be long term strong performers for the business.
• High strategic alignment between market requirement, technology, innovation, and business development.
• Demonstrative abilities to lead a business transformation through business process renewal, meshing digital solutions with traditional media to deliver increased capacity, competitive point of difference and increased customer satisfaction and renewal
• Strong financial acumen, commercial and negotiating skills.
• A key and ongoing focus on maintaining strong disciplines on both business and individual performance, growth, profitability and financial control
• A “Sleeves Rolled Up” attitude

Professional Qualifications
• Relevant successful undergraduate qualifications sought with further post graduate studies in Management well regarded.
