General Manager of Marketing – Role description

• Extend the presence of the ATAR Notes and TuteSmart brands online.
• Manage, implement and optimise digital advertising campaigns across channels including Adwords, Facebook and Instagram.
• Utilise our popular Top-1000 Australian website and large user database to promote our products and services.
• Generate registrations for our large-scale events with tens of thousands of students in attendance.
• Understand the student experience, language, and mindset. Experience in education or student recruitment is ideal.
• Work with our editorial team to create advertorial content.
• Work with our sales team on lead generation campaigns.
• Create campaigns that span offline advertising channels including letterbox, events, and SMS.
• Drive traffic and sales via our eCommerce store.
• Demonstrate a high level of competency with copywriting, and at least mid-level competency with the Adobe suite.
• Liaise with our designers and printers for flyers, brochures, marketing collateral, and letterbox campaigns for print advertising.
• Report on your activities to general management.

• Demonstrate real hands on experience with running Adwords, Facebook and Instgram campaigns and advertising
• Enjoy working in small team environments to both strategise and implement marketing activities.
• Be able to own up to your mistakes, and demonstrate humility, diligence, and attention to detail.
• Be excited by the prospect of being part of a high-growth company that is making a real difference to students across Australia.
• Be based in Melbourne, but your work will cover the whole country.
• Have demonstrated experience managing and executing on multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Be in a marketing role for at least 3 years.
