The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced marketer and master storyteller who has a passion for finding and telling inspiring stories.

We’ll be looking to you as the go-to expert on our customers and their most impactful use cases. You’ll partner with our sales and customer success teams to meet and build relationships with our customer base to then develop impactful stories into written content, engaging videos, speaking engagements, and media opportunities.

The greatest part of this role is that you get to craft and adapt your message to appeal to all types of industries and company size – particularly our Small to medium business market. You will also play a big part in telling stories of impact such as our EducateAll initiative.

Reporting to our Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for all marketing content globally, creating world-class content that communicates the value of EdApp – to reach more customers and help them understand the potential impact EdApp can have on their business.

Day to day you will:

● Drive the development and execution of our global content marketing strategy that meets both short and long term brand and business goals.
● Working on producing large scale customer events like our global summit
● Developing compelling customer stories like this, this and this . Constantly improving our messaging and identifying new content for campaigns and sales consumption.
● Take ownership of our social media and email marketing channels and use these as platforms to share great stories
● Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and advocates to help them tell their stories and share their expertise with a broad audience.
● Partner with our global sales and customer success teams to identify and source
customer stories that align with our brand/product narrative and can be used in marketing campaigns, product launches, events, press interviews, analyst engagements, and media opportunities.
● Partner with product teams to understand how to better sell our latest features and product developments, helping our customers stay brand ambassadors of EdApp within their organisations
● Partner with go-to-market teams to stay up to date with market trends, and competition that impacts the business.
● Contribute to a vibrant culture of diverse and inclusive teams, model inclusive behaviors and hold others accountable for ensuring the same!

Who you are…
● A master storyteller. You are creative and enjoy crafting compelling stories to engage a wide range of audiences.
● You have a commercial mindset where you can tell our customer stories in ways that are compelling and support business objectives.
● You are strong at building relationships with customers and internal team members.
● Have excellent project management skills and ability to work independently, taking briefs directly to delivery across many departments.
● Demonstrates an understanding of marketing and sales funnels and how different tactics and channels drive impact across the entirety of a prospect and customer journey.
● You are passionate about the power of education and making a true impact in the world
● You value and champion inclusivity
● Have an ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
● Excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation skills

Bonus Points if you have:
● 5+ years of marketing or public relations experience, with at least 2 years in customer marketing, communications, or content roles that are focused on developing deep customer relationships and compelling stories
● Experience working in B2B SaaS and mobile based platforms. Even better if the business was supported by high levels of user generated content!
● Are able to travel for site visits, customer meetings and global events
● Previous experience working for one or more large-scale mobile or web products that have international scale
