This Senior Marketing position is responsible for the leadership of the Insights & Optimisation team, which provides actionable insights to influence marketing and customer focused business strategies and objectives. The Insights & Optimisation team is one of several teams within the Marketing department, which sits within the Engagement and Development Portfolio within the Sydney Opera House. The role is part of the Marketing Leadership Team, and has extensive experience in customer segmentation analysis and targeting, data manipulation, asset creation and insights reporting, and marketing channel attribution and performance analysis.

• Technical, statistical/ mathematical analytical tertiary qualifications.
• 10+ years business experience operating within a marketing environment, including strategic leadership roles, and operational marketing/customer analytics and analyst roles.
• Strong business acumen in a commercial environment
• High level analytical and technical expertise and extensive experience working in SQL within varied data sets, data manipulation and strategic experience with data and systems integration. Experience with marketing stack technology (Adobe desirable but not essential).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven capacity to translate data and insights into a compelling narrative.
• Excellent relationship management and leadership skills.
• A passion and interest in the performing arts, entertainment, and tourism space highly desirable.
