Head of Media

This role is with an independent creative media agency located in the CBD

The Head of Media will be responsible for the strategic direction, execution and integration of the department within the agency. Their primary focus will be to lead the media team on multiple, simultaneous media buys between clients and publishers, primarily focused on digital media, but with a good understanding of how non-digital media is planned and bought. This position requires highly developed time management, multi-tasking, and organizations skills, and must demonstrate an ability to communicate concise feedback professionally between online publishers and clients.

Ideal candidates will be detailed oriented, process driven and take complete ownership of their tasks. In addition to digital media strategy and execution, the Head of Media will also lead the team on efforts related to e-commerce, website analysis, and email marketing to support conversion efforts. Knowledge of Google Analytics and an understanding of media data concepts and tracking are required. Salesforce experience is also mandatory

This position will lead all internal teams; accounts, PMO, media, and social to ensure that MMI is creating the best reports and insights for all of our clients. Strong analytical skills and use of Excel for reporting is required. Previous experience in digital ad placement (Facebook, Twitter, Google Ad words, etc.) is required, preferably in an agency. They must be strategic but also hands-on, diplomatic yet inspirational, and poised under pressure.
