An Independent & Innovative content and communications agency are currently on the hunt for a passionate, enthusiastic and driven Senior Social Media Manager/ Social Strategist who is looking to take the next step in their career to a Social Lead. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to really impact a business and grow a team and the agencies offering.

This is an amazing opportunity to work across a portfolio of national and global brands to develop their social offering across award winning campaigns, content, media partnerships, activations and influencer activity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will see you lead on social strategy, deliver effective and engaging social media programs and produce seamless integrated campaigns. You will successfully manage all day to day contact with each of your clients updating them on activity, results and ROI. You will mentor a Social Media Manager and 3 other juniors developing their skillset and work alongside the Agency Director to pitch for new business and lead on presentations. DUTIES
· Lead on social strategy, content ideation and development.
· Be the main point of contact for all your clients, updating on progression.
· Taking a brief from a client and briefing in correct teams, production, social and creative.
· Manage, track, optimise and report on paid and organic social campaigns whilst overseeing a Social Media Manger and executives.
· Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously to ensure successful delivery, managing budgets, project timelines and production/content schedules.
· Support and mentor a Social Media Manager and Coordinators to develop their skill set and ensure they remain inspired.
· Build strong relationships both internally and with external clients.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Strong understanding of all areas within social media including social listening, content ideation & development, paid media and reporting.
· Experience working agency side, running multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
· Superb communication skills with an ability to manage all levels internally and externally.
· Ability to manage and drive strategic, integrated social programs across multiple channels.
· Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and inspire junior team members.
· Desire to drive new business and proactively contribute to the future of the business at a strategic level.
· A solid understanding of the Australian social media landscape.
· You will be a strategic problem solver, a leader who isn’t afraid to push boundaries and have an opinion to make strong social recommendations for your clients.
