HR Coordinator

Screen Australia is the Commonwealth Government’s primary agency for supporting Australian screen projects, practitioners and businesses. We support projects of scale and ambition, distinct local stories told with strong creative voices and risk-taking content for all platforms.

About the role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Coordinator to join and support our HR team for a broad range of administrative duties across the entire employee lifecycle. This role will coordinate information flow for all people processes, contributing to the delivery of effective and efficient HR activities and programs. It will also assist with payroll and office services tasks as required.

About you:
• 1 – 2 years’ experience working in similar role within a small HR team.
• Experience in general administration, reporting and document management, preferably within a Human Resources function.
• Strong administration and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and passion for delivering work to a high standard.
• Strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities, and delivery to deadlines.
• Experience and proficiency in a range of computer software programs, particularly in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and preferably Visio.
• Tertiary qualifications Human Resource Management, or working towards qualification (desirable).
• Experience using a payroll system (preferably Aurion).
