You’re hungry for success, never satisfied coming in second place, and driven to make complex topics easy to understand for readers. You understand the power of SEO, and know how to reach the largest audience by leveraging every platform at your disposal. You’re passionate about using your skills to help make a real difference to millions of Australians.

In this role, you’ll be writing about a broad range of topic areas in Insurance, from health to travel and automotive to insurtech. You’ll be writing and improving a range of article types including product comparisons and reviews, long form guides and features, money hacks and saving tips, and general news. This includes writing your own content, editing existing content and work from freelancers, and working with the publishing team to improve pages; all while leveraging key SEO principles to ensure your work reaches the largest possible audience.
Empathy – You’re an expert, but you’ll be able to step into the user’s shoes to understand their pain points. You’ll be able to explain complicated ideas to a layperson without dumbing things down.
Being the voice of insurance – You’ll assist our award-winning PR team with ideas and pitches around the insurance space. You’ll work with marketing to develop newsletters and the creative team for social and video pieces. Your knowledge will help our developers build a better comparison engine.
Advanced On-Page SEO – You’ll take advantage of your deep understanding of the latest search engine ranking factors to ensure our content has the best possibility visibility within search engine results pages.
Uncovering every opportunity – You’ll use your extensive research capabilities to produce holistic and comprehensive content that provides genuine value to our users.
Building and leveraging industry relationships – You’ll foster relationships within the insurance industry.

The ability to write SEO- and user-friendly web copy that is optimised for conversion
Ability to work to deadlines
A history of managing editorial projects
An enterprising, proactive attitude

An ideas person with empathy for the end user
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
