So, what the hell is a Thinker? We’re glad you asked.

A Thinker is a cross between strategy-types and suity-types, they ask a lot of questions and listen very carefully for the answers. They’re problem solvers and punctual, and know how to drive business results. They know how to get shit done.

As a Lead Thinker you’ll have three key things to do:
Brand and Behaviour Strategy: You’ll help clients with their brand strategy development, everything from insights to inspiring brand ideas. You’ll also develop insights that help unlock behaviour change and habit-forming ideas. All of which feeds into creativity, and creative ideas to build brands and change behaviour.
Project Leadership: You’ll lead projects and/or retained pieces of business, as required. You’ll always work across both retained and projects to keep things fresh and fun.
Entrepreneurialism: Our clients are in the business of building brands and changing behaviours to increase their economic fortune. You’ll also help where you can and ensure that we stay on top of opportunities that unlock growth for our clients. This may involve organising proactive events, ideas or information for them. Help them become more consumer-focused and build demand-led growth for their business.

Your focus will be on the following:
Creating and maintaining relationships with clients and developing sound strategic and creative solutions for our clients, and you’ll do everything always to the highest standard and always with Measured Magic weaved through.
Ensure a deep understanding of your clients’ business and objectives, craft appropriate strategies and identify/implement products to help achieve client goals
Prioritise and set expectations on key deliverables
Coordinate the day-to-day agency resources to ensure client projects are delivered at the highest quality, on-time and budget to impress our clients
Accurately assess all work of internal and externals partners and provide corrective guidance where necessary
Collaborate with our Thinkers, Tinkers and our clients to manage multiple projects through the different phases of production.
Identify potential production risks and proactively find solutions to address these in advance.
Ensure accurate and realistic creative, print, digital, production and other briefs and estimates as necessary
Produce comprehensive and accurate reports and project outlines (e.g. WIPs, project plans, timelines, campaign results etc)
Producing accurate and realistic estimates and invoicing to ensure all work is billed accurately and in a timely manner
Tracking, monitoring and reporting on the status of all jobs as defined by the client
Attending client meetings and internal work-in-progress meetings and delivering presentations to staff and clients when required
To evaluate and support the profitable running of your clients
Analyse campaign and customer data to provide conclusions, implications, and actionable recommendations designed to improve the quality of future relationship marketing communications

We promise to push you out of your comfort zone, and nurture your inherent brilliant qualities at the same time. The Institute of Measured Magic is our training and development program where we keep brains sticky with internal and external tailored training throughout the year. We also develop personal Measured Magic Indicators (MMIs are our version of KPIs) to ensure everyone is growing in their role and beyond.

We kick off every week with Measured Mondays, our all agency, super-wip and finish every Friday at 4pm with Magic Hour, where we get creative and weird together.

On top of your regular leave, everyone also gets a Mind Expansion Project per year, up to 5 consecutive days of extra leave per year for you to expand your mind and explore something new (that is something you wouldn’t normally do and something you’ve never done before), and then share back your experience with the agency. Pretty interesting eh? What would you do?
