Manager, Sales Liaison

NBCUniversal International Distribution is seeking a Manager, Sales Liaison to join the ANZ team based in Sydney. Reporting to the Liaison Senior Sales Manager, ANZ, you will be responsible for supporting sales activities of NBC Universal’s filmed entertainment and television products to Linear (Free TV, Basic & Pay TV) and New Media outlets (TVOD, Subscription VOD, Ad-based Free on Demand, Electronic Sell-Through), as well as NBCU International Network’s branded services.

In addition, you will assist in the development and execution of sales activities, in conjunction with NBC Universal’s global strategies. Other responsibilities are to provide overall administrative support to the team as well as overseeing general administration of the office.

Candidates will have previous experience in Television, New Media distribution and/or acquisitions with ideally direct sales experience. Key responsibilities ( but not limited to) include:
Support Television Distribution (TVD) sales efforts for NBCU’s Theatrical and TV product.
All ad-hoc sales and/or relationship management support including resolving issues and ensure timely responses to all internal / external client enquiries.
Coordinating sales and financial reporting, various monthly trackers and ad hoc reporting as required.
Report results to the wider TVD team and management on a regular basis.
In coordination with the TVD team, develop, implement, and achieve the annual sales budget for your designated clients,
Drive sales growth through proactive sales interaction with free TV, pay TV, cable, satellite, broadband, internet, mobile and other platforms, for your designated clients.
Provide administrative support for various projects including budgets, presentations in PowerPoint, etc.
Coordinate weekly team meetings including preparing content and materials.
Perform general clerical duties such as (but not limited to) data entry, scanning, client deliveries, office supplies
Arrange client events, meeting and/or conference calls, including managing calendars
Process payment requests for department invoices and expenses, in conjunction with Finance departments
Assist with the maintenance of Globalforce in line with company wide best-practice, including deal updates, client database maintenance, pipeline reporting, etc.
Manage all sales trips which include (but not limited to) LA Screenings MIPCOM, territory trips.
Coordinate travel arrangements and schedules for Sales team.

About you:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
3-5 years previous experience in Television, New Media distribution and/or acquisitions.
Strong understanding of television ecosystem with a focus on emerging digital/new media avenues.
Strong relationships with New Media, Free TV, pay/satellite/cable/broadband customers desirable but not essential.
Proven experience adding value to the sales process with a strong customer and sales results focus.
Exceptional financial, analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of data-processing tools including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook, Global Force and TV rights specific programs.
Ability to work independently and drive projects through to completion as well as balance and prioritize a busy workload.
Comfortable with diversified product portfolio – US and Euro content.
Professional with unquestionable integrity and the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner.
