Position Description
Ribit.net is a two-sided marketplace, a platform that connects tertiary students with digital skills and aptitude to jobs and internships with innovative employers. Our purpose and passion is to provide students with meaningful paid work experience while they study, so they can develop new skills and gain important experience. At the same time, we want to provide startups and innovative businesses with the talent they need to grow and prosper, so they can create more jobs and build Australia’s economy.

We’re looking for someone who is creative, motivated, collaborative and passionate about Ribit’s purpose.

This is a full-time role that will focus on engaging with and growing the student and business community on the Ribit platform. You’ll be supported by your fantastic colleagues on the Ribit team, including a community coordinator and a small team of student ambassadors.

This role will develop and drive the marketing and events strategy. Working with a small team, you will be comfortable with hands on execution of day-to-day marketing activities including on and offline events, and all aspects of digital marketing and communication like content creation, social and online tools and execution.

You’ll be a whizz at developing and executing campaigns and enjoy creating content, particularly in a digital environment, and running events. You’ll thrive in a ‘start-up’ like environment which is fast paced and fun, exciting and evolving.

You’ll be joining a team striving to achieve strong social and economic impact for Australia’s economy through building a unique digital platform within a globally recognised Australian icon – the CSIRO and its data-driven flagship Data61.

If you’re a high energy, outcomes oriented, creative people-person who loves the rewarding challenge of building a social impact brand, driving digital growth and delivering amazing event experiences, then this role is for you!
