Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator plays a key role in the development and implementation of digital strategy across the Aged Care Facilities and Retirement Villages for the group. The role is responsible for developing and delivering quality content, managing all paid and owned channels, and providing general marketing support for the group.

Key responsibilities:
• Manage existing websites and online presence across all business areas identifying opportunities for growth.
• Manage online campaign activity including the creation and deployment of a range of engaging eDMs targeting a variety of audience segments and report on insights for continuous improvement.
• Write, edit and deliver quality content in line with brand positioning and business goals to maximise awareness, engagement, loyalty, and brand reputation.
• Take ownership of the Facebook strategy across the group, including community management and the creation and deployment of paid and created content to optimise conversion.
• Assist with the preparation of marketing material for campaigns and events, including articles, brochures, banners, websites, stationary etc. collaborating with designers, suppliers, etc. as needed.
• Manage both internal and external marketing queries and escalate as needed.
• Undertake general marketing tasks to support the Marketing and Communications Manager.

Education and skills:
• A Tertiary Qualification in Marketing/Communications/Digital Media or similar
• 2+ years of experience in marketing with a digital focus.
• Flair for writing and creating engaging content.
• Experience managing social media to build community, optimise paid campaigns, and use analytic tools to report.
• Experience building and distributing eDM campaigns.
• Comfortable using website analytics tools with the ability to analyse campaign results, report, and make recommendation based on insights.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Ability to build and foster effective working relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team as well as autonomously.
• Knowledge of Photoshop/InDesign/CMS is advantageous.
