Marketing Assistant

Based in our Sydney CBD office, the Marketing Coordinator works with the Marketing Manager and Digital Manager to help manage and create marketing assets and content across digital channels. This is a part time role, working 3 days a week.

The Marketing Coordinator needs to be a dynamic, energetic person with a passion for marketing, branding and social media. The Marketing Coordinator must be comfortable working in a collaborative, creative environment, where all team members are expected to contribute to the success of the team.

The Marketing Coordinator must be a great communicator who will works closely with our agency partners to update and manage our marketing assets. They need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have an attention for detail, and an eye for design and branding. The Marketing Coordinator must be able to juggle multiple projects, priorities and timelines without being overwhelmed.

The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for planning, researching and implementing our social media content calendar and moderating responses.
The Marketing Coordinator must produce quality content at scale that aligns with our social media strategy. Knowledge in social media best practices and content creation is essential. Basic skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) is also essential.

Creating professional documents and briefs in Word, is part of the role, and there’s some number crunching and analysis to do on our campaign results, so reasonable Excel skills are also needed.

The Marketing Coordinator will also undertake tasks and duties as requested by the Marketing Manager and Digital Manager, such as:
• Organising logistics for campaign shoots
• Reporting
• Asset management
• Copywriting
• Content creation
• Website updates (WordPress)
Most importantly, the Marketing Coordinator must have a passion for the digital landscape, be very organised and enthusiastic about contributing to the overall success of the team and the wider firm.

Key responsibilities:
– Updating design and marketing collateral
– Creating campaign / marketing assets, incl landing pages
– Managing social media calendar
– Creating social media content
– Social moderation
– Writing web copy, incl staff bios
– Creating and managing asset database
– Coordinating shoot logistics
– Creating and distributing enewsletter comms to clients
– Manual enquiry reporting
