Marketing Content Manager

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about content, social media and strategic growth through content & social media strategy. An individual who loves to work with brands to bring their vision and messaging to life through strategic digital content and social media. You will be a creative and analytical strategic thinker with proven skills in content creation, social strategy, organic and paid social management, influencer marketing strategy and social/ content performance reporting and analytics.

• The primary responsibility of this role is to support and lead ideation, development and implementation of the content strategy across all our websites and social channels. You will work within the marketing team and be the expert in delivering insight and knowledge around all content/social connection points as part of the consumer journey road map.
• You will take an innovative approach and continue to challenge yourself to provide new and exciting ways of delivering impactful, creative for every single campaign no matter what budget.
• You will be confident in developing relationships and have the ability to make strategic recommendations to our affiliates, acting as market industry expert for content, offering intelligence and insight to affiliates and internal teams.
• You will be responsible for working with the events manager and client communications strategist to plan and manage the consumer touchpoint content calendar, to source, create and schedule clear, concise and creative weekly content across all Pinnacle and affiliate websites, social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin to support key business objectives and venues.
• Optimise all content for SEO by ensuring trends and search volumes are researched and considered.
• Working with the creative content team, create visually arresting, on-brand content and original photography for the Pinnacle and affiliate websites and social feeds.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that our Pinnacle and all our affiliate websites and social media assets are populated with the most current content at all times, whether that be data, investment performance figures, logos, creative content or other.
• Monitor performance and compile weekly and monthly reports on content and social media performance and share across the broader organisation.
• Monitor and engage in conversations with followers and members across all website and social channels in order to have a more active presence and boost engagement.
• Monitor competitor activities and campaigns.

• 3+ years’ experience in a content and social media management role.
• Ideally you will come from a digital background and have an in depth understanding of the impact of content and associated ROI across all content platforms. You will understand SEO best practices, how search works and web analytics e.g. Google analytics, with a proven ability to execute and build followings and optimise engagement through copy on Websites, Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.
• You will be extremely strategic and creative and ideally would have some experience in the finance category. You will work closely with the creative and connections team to ensure content delivers against social strategy at all times.
• You will have the ability to develop influencer marketing strategies for campaigns we develop for our affiliates, Initiating and managing key relationships with influencers and industry representatives. You will have proven experience in presenting and pitching ideas to brands.
• The ideal candidate will have strong reporting and content/ social listening experience, with the ability to use a variety of tools and technologies such as Google Analytics, Marketo and SalesForce. You will also have the ability to use key content creation and management/ measurement tools, to enable reporting and ROI on organic & paid social media. You will have strong numerical skills for reporting and statistical analysis.
• Ideally bachelor’s degree within social marketing, PR, Journalism, Marketing/ Advertising.
• You will need to bring to the table a deep understanding of social and content channels/ content types/ technologies.
• Intuitive sense of cultural specifics and nuances.
• Resourceful and curious, able to pull insight from multiple sources.
• Exceptionally strong written skills, with a witty, crisp, professional writing style. You have a natural understanding of grammar, punctuation style and accuracy.
• Experience writing for print or online, preferably as a copywriter or social media specialist.
• Ability to present in a manner that influences and leads others around a great idea.
• Ability to see, communicate and implement at a brand level.
• Passionate about finance, culture, lifestyle, design, and wanting to use business as a force for good & an appetite to change people’s lives through better financial decisions.
• Youthful in spirit, culturally-connected and worldly wise.
• Organised and efficient with time management, be able to keep up with the fast pace of the industry and our organisation, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse demands under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
• You will have a great eye for an image and love of optimised photography and language and clear verbal presentation skills and style.
• Excellent photography and editing skills, including a knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Excellent organizational skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• A sense of humour and a real passion for the Pinnacle brand.
