Marketing Coordinator

Macleay College seeks a Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for the creative and effective coordination, planning and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that build brand awareness and generate and nurture new student leads.

This is achieved through digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, SEO/SEM, content, communications, advertising and events.
The Marketing Coordinator will have a solid understanding of the digital landscape and functionality, the ability to build and nurture contacts, a track record of using digital campaign tools, as well as maintain and administer the Macleay College website and CRM tool HubSpot.

The role will support the objectives of the marketing and recruitment team and also conduct marketing research to strengthen evidence-based decision-making and monitor and report on key metrics.

The role is based in Sydney but also covers activities for our Melbourne campus and is vital in supporting the growth and student experience initiatives for the college.


CRM, Online & Social Media
Assist in the planning, development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Macleay College website and digital marketing campaigns.

Communications and Content
Be deeply involved in the writing/editing, planning and execution of customer-centric communications and content strategies across all digital touch points and software by using creative flair and clear messaging.

Marketing Collateral
Deliver best practice collateral for all college courses, events and online/offline promotional materials.

Event Operations
Assist with the planning, management and delivery of Sydney and Melbourne college events that are memorable, well designed and in line with brand positioning and communications objectives.

Research & Reporting
Conduct regular research to evaluate online data, customers, market conditions and competitors.

Desired Skills and Experience
Experience managing PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media and affiliate programs

Strong understanding of online marketing concepts i.e. digital and social media
Experience working with HubSpot or other marketing automation platforms
Expert knowledge and skill in using social media platforms to develop and expand online communities

Excellent at using MS Office, Adobe CS, website CMS and basic HTML

Excellent attention to detail
