Marketing Executive

We are currently looking for a full-time Marketing Executive to join our Business Development & Communications Team! The primary purpose of this role is to implement the national marketing strategy to deliver SLSA’s business goals through an integrated calendar of national brand programs, campaigns, major events and initiatives.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the key areas of focus for the role are:
• Campaigns – we are always looking at ways we can improve and enhance our marketing campaigns, so we’ll be looking for innovative and effective ideas for multi-channel campaigns which increase the performance of the SLSA brand year on year and support our key messages.
• Brand Custodianship – our brand has become one of Australia’s greatest cultural icons, so a consistent brand proposition must be maintained across all SLSA materials, channels and stakeholders.
• Special Projects – our projects require a team effort, so we need a real team player with a ‘can do’ approach. The GM Communications & Partnerships will need support from time to time to ensure special projects are delivered on time and to budget.
We are looking for a passionate and creative marketer who embodies the Surf Life Saving values and has the following experience and attributes:
• Demonstrated previous experience in end-to-end multi-channel campaign management will help you shine in this role!
• Our brand is crucial to our success. If you’ve acted as brand custodian across a national Australian wide brand within the sporting, charity and/or not-for-profit community sectors, you’ll have a vast advantage
• We’re after someone who has financial management experience to keep our marketing budgets on track
• You will need to have intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite
• We are always looking at ways we can improve and enhance our marketing so we’ll be looking to you to demonstrate creativity, innovation and analytical skills
• We need our teams to work productively, so we’re after someone who has demonstrated project management experience and the ability to work amongst a busy team environment with multiple projects on the go
• Proven ability to work well with multiple stakeholders to achieve cut through and buy-in
• Strong attention to detail incorporated into excellent presentation and writing skills will see you soar in this role!

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week and is based at Surf House @ Bondi Beach.
