Paid Media Manager

Nine are looking for a talented Paid Media Manager to grow subscriber numbers and achieve revenue targets for our subscription mastheads. You will be responsible for the implementation and management of high impact digital performance campaigns to grow subscription revenue across digital and print subscriptions.

In this role, you will take a collaborative approach in partnership with marketing teams and other internal stakeholders, including Product, Data and Research. This is an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a talented and confident paid media manager to join our Sydney team and help build our digital subscription value proposition.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

– End-to-end management of digital performance campaigns, including defining audience and channel strategy, implementation and ongoing optimisation
– Partner with marketing to meet campaign timings, executing on world-class digital campaigns and driving efficient implementation processes
– Manage budget and bidding strategies to maximize ROI across media activity including Programmatic Display, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Search, including technical setup and analysis of results
– Define audience strategies that support revenue goals, using insights from across the business, including Google Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, qualitative and quantitative research, propensity models and other sources
– Maintain a data-driven approach through continual experimentation and optimization to exceed growth targets
– Collaborate and work closely with marketing managers to ensure strategic alignment in campaign planning, creative development, audience mix, and A/B tests
– Build strong and open relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Smartly, Datorama, as well as internal Product and Data teams
– Ensure and look to continually improve effective paid media management processes, including creative implementation, budget pacing, reporting and documentation of best practice team process.

– Direct experience in a paid media marketing
– Understanding of the digital customer journey, including digital performance metrics, channels, audience building and best practice
– Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices with experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
– Excellent analytical and project management skills
– Experience in driving results through strategic and tactical marketing plans
– Strong commercial outlook Meet deadlines, ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication & collaboration skills, including internal and external stakeholder relationships
– Ability to articulate digital activity in a simplified and effective manner to stakeholders
– Ability to present confidently to internal and external stakeholders
