Paid Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a Paid Social Media Specialist (Facebook + Instagram) to join our growing team. We need a fearless, game-changing, creative thinker who’s ready to push paid media to the limits to deliver the very best results for our clients. This role will see you engaging directly with clients on a day-to-day basis, take the lead on select media accounts and become a go-to-girl/guy internally for all things paid social.

• Ideate, develop and implement paid media strategy for client campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
• Work closely with other social media managers on the development of social and content strategies, to ensure that client objectives are met and exceeded using paid media.
• Manage and optimise day-to-day delivery of campaigns, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement (I.e. A/B, split testing etc)
• Ability to understand and interpret big data to provide valuable and actionable insights.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly media reports and provide feedback to clients on campaign performance, along with suggestions for improvement and optimisation.
• Stay ahead of the curve by participating in thought leadership and industry updates to find new strategies, tactics and approaches to improve client media results.

Experience & Abilities;
• 1+ year experience running ad campaigns on Facebook through Business Manager (Facebook + Instagram).
• Previous experience in developing, managing and delivering on client campaigns.
• Experienced with Google Analytics.
• In-depth understanding of how to build Facebook funnels and optimise for better performance.
• Prior experience in managing YouTube and Snapchat media placements is viewed favourably.
• Prior agency experience viewed favourably.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Reliable, self-disciplined and independent thinker.
• Team player, works efficiently in teams.
• Must be based in Melbourne.
