The role:
Writers at Finder focus on a specific content area of our site with the goal of being recognised as a subject matter expert in a particular niche. You will be focused on consumers loans, specifically personal loans, business loans, car loans and credit scores. Working with our Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher for your niche (who you’ll report to), you’ll craft new and improve on existing content to ensure that the purpose of every article perfectly meets the user’s needs.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include writing and improving comparison guides, product reviews and occasionally industry news within the loans niche. You will need to stay up-to-date with new product developments, industry announcements and be able to network with key industry players. Your role will include working with our in-house PR team and Client Services team to ensure the niche’s goals are reached. At Finder, our writers are empowered with the time and resources they need to ensure that the content they write is something they’re proud of.

You have a passion for distilling complex topics into articles that are easy and enjoyable to read. Your work is thorough, you enjoy research and you use correct grammar and punctuation. The content you write is comprehensive, succinctly written and isn’t full of unnecessary words. SEO skills or prior experience in SEO optimisation will be highly regarded along with a background in conversion-focused content.
You enjoy the challenge of going up against tough competition and winning. Complacency isn’t a word in your dictionary, you are proactive and motivated and driven to reach your team’s and the company’s goals.
You are a collaborative teammate with a positive outlook and strong communication skills. You feel connected to finder’s core values of ’empowering people’ to take action, a ‘go live’ bias towards action, ‘be straight up’ approach to open communication and ‘master your craft’ which is all about continuous curiosity and learning.
