PR Account Director – Healthcare | Fab agency with great culture!

My client is one of the few truly integrated PR agencies, bringing together specialists across all PR disciplines under one roof across 3 offices nationwide. So while you are joining a healthcare communications team, you’ll have the chance to experience and learn from consultants across all other parts of the business.

The healthcare team brings together highly experienced PR professionals working across media, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, consumer and medical healthcare campaigns.

As part of the wider agency network, my client provides their clients with one-stop access to healthcare communications experts, social marketing specialists, digital strategists and public affairs practitioners. Their team are experts at designing and implementing creative communications and reimbursement campaigns for leading local and international organisations involved in pharmaceuticals, vaccines, biotechnology, consumer health and wellbeing, and medical devices and technology. They are also committed to supporting the work of many NGOs, the medical research sector, and the country’s clinicians.

Each of the specialists in the team are defined by their insights, ideas and influence. Deep client, policy, media and political insights; creative ideas to solve problems, issues and opportunities; and influence in real-world commercial outcomes or changing public attitudes and behavior.

THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

My client is now looking for a PR Account Director to join this talented team and step into a newly created role to help support the future growth of the agency and the team.

As an Account Director, you have well and truly moved into a strategic role managing clients and teams, you’re a leader of the business and making decisions affecting the business. You are responsible for a number of clients as well as a significant amount of revenue.

You’ll have specialist skills that are sought by other members of your team and across the wider agency. You will support the senior leadership team to deliver the vision, performance and growth requirements of the business. You will also work closely with the other Directors on devising and delivering internal programs to strengthen the culture and the team.

As an Account Director, this next step in your career is about carving out your position as a senior strategic advisor for clients and the business and playing a leading role in winning new business and building the business together with the rest of the team.

Prior ethical healthcare experience is required for this role, preferable from an agency environment. You have strong team management skills and are a true team player who is creative and always looking for new ways of doing things.
